Comprising of an installation and a performance piece, "Realign" was exhibited at The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery.

Rebecca recalls her mom explaining her recovery from traumatic events as feeling like she was "a used, bent out of shape paint brush," and "just needed to be put back straight, to be realigned."

Realign explores how easy it is to fall out of the good graces of balance and perfection in our lives. From one point of view a line may look perfect, but move askew from that stance and that same line is broken, traversing crumpled terrain. Find yourself aligned with one line, four others simultaneously appear chaotic. "Realign" reminds the viewer that as long as we face tumult or challanges, we must continue to realign ourselves.
